Chasing Nature

Just a little, obviously! As you can see, we don’t mean chasing it away, quite the contrary, we mean seeking it out and bringing it into our homes.
More than ever, we want to reconnect with nature and get back to basics… we are seeking authenticity. More than ever, we want the real, the gentle, the curvy. And from that point of view, rattan is exactly what we need in these uncertain times. It doesn’t damage its environment, it’s easy to recycle, it takes us on a journey and it soothes us. In a nutshell, from the bedroom to the living room, from the dining room to the bathroom, it has become an interior design staple over the years. Demonstration.

In the bedroom, a cosy natural feel is the order of the day with the added extra of a dash of Out of Africa. You can almost hear the lions roaring (OK, perhaps we’re letting our imagination run away with us!). Everything is curvy, soft, light. Soothing.
The bench invites us to unwind, the headboard to take a trip – real or imaginary -. The lighting and the round table naturally complete the feeling of authenticity. And to complete the look, we accessorize with elements in natural materials such as rope, wicker, linen and cotton, elevated by bold surprising shapes like this eye mirror. As for the living room and dining room, you can go for a total look by putting together a completely rattan decor: from the bench to the coffee table, including the lighting and the console table. The result is a comforting, cosy space that is totally in tune with modern tastes. The return to nature is cmplete and brightens our daily life. We can also choose to use just one or two pieces to bring just a dash of the natural into our home or to add texture to the decor.
