# Manufacturing

At Tikamoon, there are no composite materials made from polluting products. We use eco-responsible solid wood that preserves the natural elegance of the tree it comes from. It’s important to mention there’s no plywood, glueing or stapling involved either. We only use traditional assembly methods with no additional hardware, simply the working of wood.

# Durability 

Children are full of vitality and energy… so their bedroom and playroom should be furnished with items that will “resist” their enthusiasm and experimentation. Tikamoon’s children’s collections, in addition to being beautiful, solid and durable, will stand the test of time and childhood without going out of style. They have timeless charm and are robust and incredibly durable… What about accidents? Let’s take a simple example: your child’s rammed into their favourite cabinet on their balance bike or roller blades and left a little mark on the wood? Don’t worry, solid wood can be maintained throughout its life cycle. Just give it a polish and it will be as good as new!

# Finishing touches

Most of our children’s furniture has been varnished to offer a daily layer of protection, using a non-toxic product of course. The colour can alter over time as it acquires a patina, but this slight variation, rather than being unpleasant, makes it even more beautiful as the years go by.
