Delivery & Returns

We are a French company, and our warehouse is based in northern France. As a result, Brexit may have a slight effect on the delivery time. Customs checks are occasionally carried out on the import of goods into the United Kingdom. We are doing our best to speed up these processes, but delivery periods may be extended by a few days.

Our furniture is made from natural materials, using traditional assembly methods by our artisan partners in Europe and Asia.
This process guarantees the authenticity and quality of our products, but means that their production may take a little time.
Depending on the availability of our products, the delivery times shown on our product pages may vary :
  • Delivery within 7 to 10 days > product in stock in our warehouse
  • Delivery within 3 to 10 weeks > product being transported to our warehouse
  • Delivery within 4 months > product being manufactured in our workshops. The maximum delivery time will be 2 to 4 months. To compensate for the long waiting time for items that are still in production, Tikamoon will cover the shipping costs.
  • Temporarily out of stock > products that we will manufacture in the coming months but for which we do not yet have a deadline to communicate. You can subscribe to be alerted when it is back in stock, and to receive an email when the product can be ordered.
If you place an order for items with differently advertised delivery times, the longer time will be taken into account so that we can ship your entire order to you in one go.
If you want to receive your items as they become available, you will need to order them separately.

We only deliver to England, Wales and Scotland (excluding the Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and the Scottish Islands) and Northern Ireland. We do not deliver to Ireland.

Packages over 30kg

This service applies to the shipping of furniture.

Deliveries operate from Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 9 pm. For remote areas, delivery slots may be limited to specific weekdays.

Delivery to the room of your choice can be made up to the second floor, unless there is a lift. Please note that the delivery men can only deliver above the ground floor if the item weighs less than 75kg or if there's access to a lift. Our furniture is delivered assembled. Don’t forget to measure your rooms, door frames, stairwells, and any other access points to your home, before ordering.

The transporter will deliver your product by appointment, within 5 to 8 days, from the email announcing the departure of your parcel from our warehouse in northern France. The transporter will contact you by text message or email, to agree on a delivery time.

Please note that it is not possible for BJS to amend delivery addresses, change or cancel delivery dates within 24 hours of the confirmed delivery.

Each item will be delivered in its original packaging and will not be unpacked by the delivery company.

When you receive your order, please verify the condition of the outer packaging in front of the delivery person. You can refuse the item free of charge in case it is damaged, or you can state the damage on the delivery form. Once your order has been received, please open and inspect the item for any damage.

How does the delivery process work?

You will receive a text message or email from the carrier after your parcel has left our warehouse, to agree on a delivery date. This message contains a tracking link so you can follow your order. The carrier will provide a proposed date for the delivery, and you must confirm or change the date.

The day before delivery, a 3-hour time slot will be provided.

On the day, the delivery team will call you 30-60 minutes before their arrival.

These methods may differ slightly depending on the locality.
 

Parcel Delivery via GLS/Parcelforce

Lightweight parcels under 30 kg

This service concerns the shipping of decorative items and small furniture. Shipping is carried out by a courier service (Parcelforce).

You will receive your delivery approximately 5 days from the email informing you that your parcel has left our warehouse.

Deliveries operate Monday to Friday, from 9am to 6pm.

Don't forget to enter the door number and your floor to facilitate delivery.

When you receive your order, please verify the condition of the outer packaging in front of the delivery person. You can refuse the item free of charge in case it is damaged, or you can state the damage on the delivery form. Once your order has been received, please open and inspect the item for any damage.

How does the delivery process work?

The day before delivery, you will receive an email or text message with an estimate of the planned time slot (3-hour time slot).

Delivery of the package is provided to the door or at the entrance of the building in the case of a flat.

Premium delivery by 2 people to the room of your choice and removal of packaging material

Deliveries operate from Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 9 pm. For remote areas, delivery slots may be limited to specific weekdays.

Delivery to the room of your choice (up to the second floor, unless there is a lift), unpacking of the products and Removal of packaging material.

If you are not certain of keeping the item, please do not get rid of the packaging: it will be necessary in case of a return.

A delivery notice will be left in your letter box. You will find the telephone contact details of the delivery service so you can fix a date for a second delivery, or get the address of the nearest pick-up point where you can collect your parcel.
If you want to delay the delivery of your items because you are going on holiday or planning to be away for a long time, please contact customer service by phone before placing an order.

They will support you in your purchase and can take the necessary steps to suspend the shipment and schedule delivery for a later date.

If you need to change the delivery date of an order that has already been shipped, you can contact the transporter directly, in the case of a delivery of large parcels. In the case of small parcels, please contact customer service by email or telephone.
From this site, we only deliver to Mainland UK: England, Scotland and Wales as well as Northern Ireland. We do not deliver to the Scottish or English Islands, nor to Ireland.

At Tikamoon, we offer a 60-day right to return. If you wish to return your order (partial), please inform us in writing. To do so, please send an email, if possible, with the reason for the return, to: info@tikamoon.com.

If you choose this option, we will initiate the procedure with our transporter or parcel delivery service. This procedure may take a few working days. The product to be returned should ideally be in its original packaging.
