This item is an expensive piece of furniture and frankly does not live up to the expectations. The issue was ultimately resolved by Tikamoon customer services but I want to be candid for any other potential buyers on the quality of the item. The overall look of the piece is good but once you get past a cursory glance you notice a number of issues which I really wouldn't expect on a piece of furniture at this price 1. There are marks on the item which do not rub off and which seem stained / engrained into the wood from manufacture 2. The quality of the wood was substandard with blemishes in various areas (especially prominent on the drawers) 3. The colour doesn't match the images that were present at the time of ordering. They have since updated these images to better showcase the colour, however the primary image still reflects the colour that we were expecting to receive 4. The doors do not fully open, the 'beading' catches on the other beading. Obviously this is partly due to the design but this would be possible have that design and the door open fully with a little more accuracy in the measurement and spacing 5. The wood is poorly measured and cut in places leading to abnormal spacing across the parts. There should be even spacing around each drawer / cupboard for example 6. The joins in places are terrible, with excess filler used to compensate for wood that is clearly defective or incorrectly cut - this corners are is just messy... 7. Scuffing over the item. It feels as though it was made in a factory with little care for quality control and simply trying to get the items made with anything they can get their hands on cheaply.
